Donald Joseph Qualls, better called DJ Qualls is an American model and actor. In the years since he gained fame for his role on Road Trip, he's appeared in over 20 movies. This includes The New Guy Hustle & Flow, The Core and The New Guy Hustle & Flow. The actor has also been featured in over 22 TV shows including Breaking Bad Supernatural Scrubs Lost Law & Order and others. Qualls has been fighting Hodgkin's Lymphoma since the age of 14 old. The cancer had gone into remission within two years. However, the treatment in such a short time caused a significant impact on his body and thwarted his development. As he was raised in poor circumstances, he was determined to achieve financial stability. I've lived so frugally and for so long, I'm able been able to enjoy that financial security or the world feels out of control for me he said in an interview. He also looks back at his childhood and hopes to address the issue of bullying. Cruelty breaks my heart DJ says. The ideal character for him in films and in his life is that of father. The director admits that they aren't able to put DJ in such role. It's a dream to someday be the parent of his own child, at which point the time comes when he can devote much less time working and spend more time with his child.
